The Port Angeles Senior Center is excited to partner with Clallam County Emergency Management to host our 2nd Annual Preparedness Fair, specifically tailored to the needs of senior citizens! Join us for this important event designed to help you stay safe and prepared for emergencies of all kinds.

Learn tips to stay safe online, protect your personal information, and prepare for emergencies.

Fair Highlights:
Visit booths and interact with disaster preparedness and public safety experts on topics such as:

• How to prepare for disasters
• Identifying hazards that might affect your neighborhood
• Signing up for neighborhood preparedness training
• Understanding emergency alerts and how to receive them
• Learning about Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)
• Signing up for volunteer opportunities in disaster recovery
• Disaster preparedness item giveaways
• Project Lifesaver – A tracking system for individuals with cognitive conditions who may wander
• NOAA Emergency Radio Raffle

Additional Resources Provided:
Attendees will receive complimentary emergency preparedness materials, including brochures, checklists, and templates to help you create a personalized emergency plan.
