Sequim Community Chili Cook-off
Sponsored by Turella Oral Surgery & Implants as our “Big Bean” Sponsor, Troop 90 is hosting a community cook-off with representatives from several non-profits cooking to help raise money for their organization. The Boys & Girls Club (sponsored by Dungeness Kids), Sequim Food Bank (sponsored by Highland Residential Mortgage), Habitat for Humanity (sponsored by Cross Country Mortgage), Pennies for Quarters (sponsored by Sunshine Cafe), Troop 90 (sponsored by Brokersgroup Real Estate) and the Masonic Lodge will all be making their famous chili recipes. Judging will be completed by Jose Garcia, Vicky Lowe, Regan Nickels, Lynn Horton, and Monica Dixon. At 11:30 we will open to the public and have tasting tickets available for a suggested donation of $10 for 5 tickets. All proceeds from the event will go to the participating local non-profits.
